(Perhaps the version which came to ear is even funnier. Few Germans make the effort of pronouncing the "th" correctly, letting it sound like an "s" resulting in ...."Sank you for your Corporations". The pluralisation of the subject noun is just as common.
I guess you had to have been there to understand. Either version, I find them both very funny and the funniest part of it all is that it is true. I just saw and heard this on German TV, less than 20 minutes ago. )
