Sudden arrest contrasts with Plame indictments languishing for months and refusal to prosecute Cheney, Addington and Rove.

How interesting: Enron steals billions, Bush kills millions, and Ill.Gov. indicted for intent to commit a crime. It is OK to render grandma destitute, violate Geneva and Nuremburg Conventions and Uniform Code of Military Justice-- but don't try to make graft. Cut budget for school lunches, leave wounded vets homeless on the street, betray and kill thousands in New Orleans and sell their real estate to hotels-- but don't let the FBI hear you plotting to make a buck illegally. And all the REAL CRIME, the crimes against humanity by the present president, goes ignored by the Times, which is going bankrupt because the people won't buy the Bush lie. That's right. US print and video media going broke rather than report the truth about Bush.
If you ruin Prince Wiliam Sound, wait twenty years and the fine will be reduced to ten percent, steal two hundred billion from the Indians and no harm, no foul, but-- plot to commit graft? Shame.
Allow two dozen Saudis to penetrate US Air Defense in passenger jets-- can we get you some tea with that, King Ibn? Send four thousand US military to their deaths in Iraq illegally and "lose the war"-- we understand, George, you tried. And while regretting that we cannot afford school lunches or health care for our children, give bankers eight hundred billion? Priorities, right?
But don't let that Illinois Gov. get away with talking about doing something really wrong. Heavens, no.
