"Rock Rose: The Liberation Flower"
"From Panic to Heroic Courage"

Watch this. See it"" (Shaara, J., 1998, p. 39). "5th May 1864"Taylor [Major] yelled out, "General, please! This is not the place for you!" Lee [General Robert E. Lee]"said nothing"the crews firing steadily""General, we are being flanked!"(Shaara, J., 1998, p. 141, 142).
The above excerpts from a book represent not only panic, but heroic courage of the struggle between the North and South from 1861-1865, plus the bitter aftermath of injustice to the Southern states, by the abolitionists, after the war had concluded. "The remedy of emergency for cases where there even appears no hope. In accident or sudden illnesses, or when the patient is very frightened or terrified, or if the condition is serious enough to cause great fear to those around. If the patient is not conscious the lips may be moistened with the remedy. Other remedies in addition may also be required, as, for example, if there is unconsciousness, which is a deep, sleepy state, Clematis; if there is torture, Agrimony, and so on" (Bach, Dr. E, Scheffer, M., 2001, p. 152). This reminds me of the poor souls sitting in prison in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, who have been tortured by America, in violation of the Geneva Conventions (http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2005/04/28/.../main691602.shtml). "Osama Bin Laden was not aware of the role he was playing on behalf of Washington" (Tarpley, W.G., 2006, p. 73). Those in the prison are merely the puppets, used at the pleasure of Oligarchs in the West. Regardless of their guilt, or innocence, they deserve not to be tortured. The leaders today do not compare of those mentioned in the first paragraph, however we see emotion and terror at play here, which is the negative state of Rock rose.
As a child in Germany, I clearly remember the woman, who married a friend of my father, having escaped East Germany, as she went through a tunnel, amidst the threat of being spotted by soldiers with sub-machine guns, who would have certainly ended her life. "A refugee escapes across the border. The ground has been mined. Searchlights are sweeping the area at regular intervals. Suddenly, the sound of barking dogs comes from behind. Has he been spotted? His heart beats wildly. In total panic and feeling like a hunted creature, he runs and runs for his life" (Scheffer, M., 2001, p. 153). These soldiers could be the same as the cowardly bankers, who lead our country today; nevertheless, fear of them calls for Rock rose.
On the lighter side, compared to the extreme situations mentioned above, for children, who's palms sweat easily (Scheffer, M., 2001, p. 154) and for those who "tend to panic easily" (Scheffer, M., 2001, p. 154), Rock Rose is called for. An acute threat, whether mentally, or physically, will call for Rock Rose remedy (Scheffer, M., 2001, p. 153). I can remember being in this situation, as the plane I was a passenger in, having made an emergency landing, blew two tires on the runway, and how I remember the crying of the children on board, in fear of their lives, coupled with anxiety. Furthermore, when my late father, returning from Viet Nam, after four, one year tours in that country, would dive under the bed in terror, upon hearing the sound of a car backfire, through the exhaust, which brought back the memory of mortar fire, and the camp being overrun by the enemy. No wonder this is an ingredient of Rescue Remedy, which can be used for "overacting nerves, which lead, for example, to panic" (Scheffer, M., 2001, p. 206). My father used to say that those in the war who loaded the bombs were just as guilty of those who pulled the trigger. Therefore the treasonous, criminal Oligarchs in the government of the United States, who manipulate the patsies, who hide behind a declining dollar, try to bring terror upon the population, at home, with tasers, bullying, and other forms of "pain compliance" (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pain_compliance). Also see "I'm just a patsy" (Oswald, Lee H., 1963 & Tarpley, W.G., 2006, p. 70), which reminds me of a situation in which the population affected could use Rock Rose.
"Not every situation is as dramatic, but all Rock Rose states show a characteristically intense level of inner alarm" (Scheffer, M., 2001, p. 153). "The Rock Rose state has been aptly described as a punch in the stomach" (Scheffer, M., 2001, p. 153). "Rock Rose energy liberates the personality from its state of fear, letting the pendulum swing from the negative back to the positive state" (Scheffer, M., 2001, p. 153). "Forgetting of the self for the sake of others"the courage that allows a mother to stop a rolling car with her bare hands when it threatens to run over her child who is happily at play [along with the rush of adrenaline]" (Scheffer, M., 2001, p. 154) brings to mind the positive aspect of the Rock Rose state.
"Normally the negative Rock Rose state is only temporary. It's quite often found in children, whose psyches aren't yet as stable as adults'"although [adults] may not always appear very nervous on the outside"still, they are easily stricken by panic" (Scheffer, M., 2001, p. 154). I can imagine how good this would be for one who has to give a speech for the first time, though I might be sure to use Rescue remedy, to make sure "all bases are covered" (to coin a term from baseball).
For those who experience panic, due to a parent related drug and/or alcohol abuse (Scheffer, M., 2001, p. 154), Rock Rose is useful. If "your solar plexus hurts or feels rock hard" and "your nerves are weak" (Scheffer, M., 2001, p. 154), you need Rock Rose. Let us not forget the positive aphorisms: "I will survive, I keep things in perspective, I follow my inner guidance", (Scheffer, M., 2001, p. 155), or as a Buddhist monk told me: "Think of life as a motion picture; be the observer, even if you are playing a part in the scenario."
