A few days ago Rob posted an article about the protest at the U.S. Armed Forces Educational Center, with a certain commenter posting unwavering support for the U.S. military and it's role committed by the presidential leadership of the country.
I decided to do a little research and present just what type of military "Career" these presidents have served since Nixon. Who rose to the rank of Lieutenant Commander of cargo shipping in the South Pacific.
Gerald Ford's military career began as a Naval Flight Instructor and ended up on the USS Monterey where he was the Athletic Director and Anti Aircraft Officer.
Jimmy Carter rose to Lieutenant Sr. Grade in the emerging nuclear powered submarine program.
Ronald Reagan's military career was a part of the Motion Picture Unit, since his eyesight was bad. I could only get the Wikipedia page to say anything about his "Distinguished" military service.
George Bu$h Sr. military service consisted of flying 58 combat missions from the USS San Jacinto in WWII. It should be noted that when he bailed out of his aircraft after being hit by enemy fire. Bu$h Sr. neglected the #1 rule as a pilot and abandoned his radio-man to a fate of death with this act of cowardice to save himself. I could only get the Wikepedia page to promote his military career.
Bill Clinton was a Rhodes Scholar during the Vietnam War and has no military service to speak of.
Al Gore was a military journalist's during the Vietnam War.
George Bu$h Jr has a questionable military career where he was a pilot in the Texas/Alabama Air National Guard, yet the record shows that he was AWOL/Deserter during a time of war.
Dick Cheney received 5 Vietnam deferments as he was too busy getting multi drunk driving convictions during this time. Yet when he has a chance to pull a trigger, it results in filling a friends face with buckshot.
Barak Obama has no military career and Joe Biden was turned down for medical reasons.
Since Vietnam the US has found itself engaged in dubious military engagements under these administrations of which:
Involved creating a group named Al-CIAda to support the Afghan resistance in Carter's administration, with the Reagan administration expanding this operation.
The Treason fomenting Iran-contra weapons for cocaine scandle brought to light how the Reagan administration negotiated with Terrorist's, while supplying a bunch of thugs, guns to terrorize the innocent people of Nicaragua that had voted for the Sandinista government, who just so happen to be in power once again.
We all remember what happened in Lebanon with the killing of 283 Marines, by negligent security countermeasures. In order to distract the M$M from this tragedy the Reagan administration did a "Wag-The-Dog" maneuver and "Liberated" Grenada.
There was the welcoming of the Shah Of Iran and Ferdinand Marcos by Reagan, with their billions of $'s in aid money that was meant for their people. Could this be part of the reason why there is such problems today with Iran and the Philippines?

The self-appointed Bu$h II cabal began the farce War Of Terror upon nations that had nothing to do with 9/11, that continues to this day under a new slogan of "Enduring Struggle For Freedom", by opening new fronts with Pakistan.
If I was to choose a military career, I would find it difficult to want to follow orders from certain "Commander's In Chief" the president is supposed to be.
With the way the US military has been used by these presidents and some of their hostile policies towards veterans makes me wonder just how much appreciated the sacrifices these "Kissinger" stupid soldiers have shown.
Happy to do this service by marching around in uniforms with a bunch of medals pinned to them.
I realize that many choose the military career option for the educational opportunities it has provided in the past, but the Pentagon has been hesitant to follow though on these programs recently. Along with the needed medical care these soldiers now must require, many for the rest of their lives.
This military educational center is nothing more than a way to glorify war and the need to recruit the constant stream of new bodies to do the bidding of its leadership, in oppressing others in their own countries so it doesn't happen here.
Did these "leaders" ever stop to think that if they were not infuriating the local populations of country's many Americans can't locate on maps they would have no interest to want to "Hate" our "Freedoms", or inflict violence within the US in the 1st place?
