With three failed attempts under our belt we decided it was time for a: REALITY CHECK
Historically there has never been a nationwide shut down in the US due to a massive strike.
European countries are easier to shut down simply because some of them are the georaphical size of Texas. Some are smaller than New York. Realizing this back in July '08, we began a campaign to shut down American 'satellite countries' which benefit this American 'Empire' by allowing their countries to be looted and plundered of any natural resources, as well as their national wealth via IMF loans.
This strategy has begun to pay off with general strikes in Thailand, S. Africa, Greece, Italy, France and Iraq this year.
But in America, in order to Shut 'Em Down nationally, we looked at past general strikes for inspiration and direction. The General Strike in San Francisco (1933), and the first such General Strike in Seattle (1919), they managed to shut down the entire city. But they were only able to shut down one city, which was always started with one industry. The labor strike would then be supported by other unions and other industries and eventually supported by the whole city.
That was a time when unions were forming, and weren't sold out to local goon politicians. With or without the unions, a General Worker Strike could unite all industries in solidarity.
'We The People' will become 'WE: The Strikers'. If we wait longer, what will we have left?- There is NOW no active Constitution of The Republic. There is NOW no respect for MILLIONS of people who cried out against the bailouts. There is NOW no legal recourse for Petitions against unlawful acts of Senate. We The People must unite across the country, and effectively shut down the whole USA. Make Washington and Wall Street listen.
