I saw this question posted and I think it's a worthy question that everyone with a heart and a mind should consider. Socrates said that an unexamined life is not worth living. A life that doesn't consider spirituality is an unexamined life.

How Can I attain Spirituality? I have tried Buddhism, A Course in Miracles, and Eckhart Tolle. Where is the Truth?

I have a desire for something that I cannot find in this world. Please help!

I saw this question posted and I think it's a worthy question that everyone with a heart and a mind should consider. Socrates said that an unexamined life is not worth living. A life that doesn't consider spirituality is an unexamined life.

But the beauty of the spiritual is really that it doesn't involve attaining anything. Rather it is the recognition of loss and the acceptance of loss and change that is the open door to the spiritual life. To the Western mind we must gain this and that to have something, but in the spiritual life we must lose and let go.

The process is the recognition of the reality that life is fluid and can't be grasped, but just lived. Also that there is no individual life outside of the whole of life. That is, we are not able to grasp and own life but rather we must live and receive life.

Jesus is recorded to have said "Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it: and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it." (Luke.17:33). The spiritual life arises when we move our consciousness from our narrow "self" focus to an awareness of the Truth that we are all part of the One life. When we are able to move past "Me" consciousness and into "We" consciousness then we come to a realization of the spiritual life. This is not something to be attained or grasped, but something to be realized through Awareness.

There are some beautiful ways to become more aware. We can learn to meditate and practice meditation faithfully to come to a greater awareness. We can also spend time in nature and expand our awareness in the arts. In short, anything that can safely move your consciousness outside of a narrow frame of a "Me" focus and into an expanded "We" focus will bring you into the spiritual.

The spiritual life is not something to be attained or grasped but it is something that comes through the realization of the Truth that we are all of one Being, and together we are responsible for and to each other.

The spiritual life is a process of infinite living and it is found in the awareness of the reality of our infinite being. We are all together forever, there is no separation.

There is only the separation our minds create.

Welcome all to the spiritual life.
