The MSM has gleefully seized upon YouTube videos of Barack Obama's former pastor Reverend Wright, saying that God should not bless America, but rather, do the opposite. Of course, Obama has reiterated his disavowal of many of his former pastor's positions, and the Reverend has stepped down from any formal involvement in the Obama campaign.
However, to put the Reverend's statements in better perspective, I'd like to remind the MSM of the "Values Voter Debate" of Republican candidates, apparently noticed by no one but Rachel Maddow.
The debate featured a choir singing - in front of all the Republican candidates - a song called "Why Should God Bless America?" It goes on to say that America has forgotten God exists.
And, of course, there's always John McCain's endorser, Hagee.
Let's not let the MSM apply a double standard.
