Democrats in Washington have optionsThe Democrats in DC can head home and throw support behind state legislation to bring about the changes that Congressional Republicans will not allow to take place in the Capitol. Prosecutions of crimes committed by Bush and Co. can begin at the local level. Look at the impeachment movements beginning in city governments. Look at what one district attorney in Texas has been able to accomplish taking on GOP crime boss and politico Tom DeLay - every effectively ending his reign as a Washington heavyweight and lobbyists' shill for hire. It can happen. I'm tired of the Democrats throwing their hands up and whinning. Will finds a way. Where are the willing Democratic leaders other than Conyers and Feingold?? Still in DC at the earmarking, pork fest or back doors of K-Street.
