Dear President Obama,
I am shocked and dismayed that you have broken yet another promise to
those of us who supported you: We heard on the Noise today that you are "ready"
to drop the Public Option!
This is what happens when you start with a compromise instead of going for
the gold standard: Public Health/ Single-Payer.
This is what happens when you "Compromise " with Rightwingers and fools who
don't even know which side of the toast their butter's on!
The angry, frightened Sheeple have been MIS-lead by the "Owned" Media
again! ...and you did NOT do your level darndest, from atop your elevated
position,to clarify the MAJOR issue; the RIGHT of people to have affordable
healthcare, and the need for a government-overseen,
Single-Payer system that cuts out the greedy insurance
leeches and sets some decent standards of service and costs.
I am deeply disappointed in you...you HAD the
political capital, the People behind you,and yousquandered it kow-towing to
the Reichwing establishment!
This would be a shameful blot on your presidency, a true betrayal of the
People's trust in you!
You must immediately stand up for what you know
is right; History will not forgive you, and neither will the Voters who put you
in!
We need Healthcare, NOT Warfare, and a real leader to do what is right for
the People, NOT the Corporations!
I will make this an Open letter, since the
Healthcare Haters seem to already have ample bully-pulpit in the"Mainstream"
Media.
In Hopeful Sincerety,
Bia Winter,

PS: I brewed an excellent beer for you (Obama Brew,

would be anywhere NEAR as good!
I have no idea how to send it to you, but if you're
up here in Maine on some obligatory visit to George Sr, stop in and we'll
discuss all this over a frosty glass of Obama Brew!
