Small excerpt…
Peak oil, predicted by some to be already upon us, and others not to happen for another ten years, will inexorably and undoubtedly arrive; bringing massive disruption to our way of life. Driving your SUV when gas is $10, $20 or $50 a gallon or more, will be for only the very rich. The number of people owning a car will drastically reduce, leading to widespread unemployment in all the related industries leading to further unemployment in non related industries as the former workers in the car industry cannot buy things.

I first of all would like to apologize for adding to the myth of ‘Peak Oil’ – you can find it quoted everywhere. Lack of scholarship and critical thinking is the reason for my mistake. If you Google ‘Peak Oil’ you will have 7 million 770 thousand links to peruse at your leisure, if you have the time.
I know that ‘Peak Oil’ will undoubtedly occur at some time in the future, but the myth that it is upon us right now is just that – a myth.
Take a look at Lindsy Williams’ videos and he also has a book out
Don’t take my word for it, look for yourself! I’ve seen reports against ‘Peak Oil’ that say there is enough light crude in Alaska that would supply the United States for hundreds of years. What the actual truth is I do not know, but in the interests of ‘Fair and Balanced’ you should see both sides to the argument, don’t you think? Another quote from your favourite TV channel, (or not) is ‘we report, you decide’, so go look at the videos and decide for yourself.
Once again I apologize for adding my 2 cents to the myth of ‘Peak Oil’.
