This week an exciting new candidate has come forward to challenge Nancy Pelosi in her San Francisco district where the voters are being ignored by the Speaker of the House. Citizens around the nation are pledging time and sending donations to Shirley Golub in an effort to show Nancy Pelosi that we have had enough. She has failed to uphold the Constitution and appears to be protecting Bush from his crimes, not defending our Constitution and holding him accountable to the law.
Shirley Golub is the ideal Peace Candidate because not only is she running against the most powerful Representative in the House, she is using her run to raise awareness and educate the public. She will be sitting in front of Nancy Pelosi's local office every Thursday at noon to rally the growing crowds to demand Impeachment.
By inviting all her fellow constituents to join her in demonstration that grows week by week, Shirley Golub is looking to demonstrate that we the people have the numbers to replace ANY member of Congress who thinks they can long ignore the voices of their constituents. The requirements are often minimal and many Congressmen continue to be elected while running unopposed.
