In these difficult times, our enemies seek to distract us from our major task, which is to survive with dignity. This seems a modest goal and it was sixty years ago. We lost our dignity when our Republic failed. We have become the mindless dupes of the military/industrial complex voters by rote and consumers by push button.
The leadership numbed our senses and fractured our thought processes. The theme was God, Duty and Country. The media job was to amuse, entertain, delude and indoctrinate us into the fantasy they had created for us.
It is a High School mentality where clothes make the man the leadership watching over us. Our team is number one and they have many times led us astray, There is no way to overcome this massive indoctrination at once. We must attack our delusions piece by piece.
It's a Shame DNA Tests Weren't Available to the King
King Abdullah would have known that Syrians, Palestinians and Jews share the y-chromosome factor unique to our group. We are genetic brothers [in the broad sense].
Even two thousand years ago the brothers had split culturally, the Jews taking on Hellenism for example. The Diaspora took us to 130 territories all over the world. In appearance we altered to those in the new areas. The most Semitic -appearing Jews suffered expulsion from the North African states around 1948.
Since then the Palestinians have adopted Israeli traits including Hebrew speaking, a conscious effort to establish democratic institutions and the Western mode of dress. These have alienated them from the Arab World. The lack of outside aid inspired them to open the two recent conflicts with Israel.
The latest attack at election time shifted some of the Parliament seats to the right a minor adjustment. The Arab World was disappointed that we did not wipe out the Palestinians. Brother to brother mass destruction for the edification of bloodthirsty outsiders, this is not in the cards.
