::::::::
In January, you came through. In February, up until the last few days, you came through.
But we need that kind of support every week, every month.
After a few days where the flow of donations drops to a trickle, I start to worry, even wake up in the middle of the night. Sure things are tight. But every day, I hear from readers who tell me OpEdNews is the best, their favorite site, doing great work. Well we need your support to keep on going. So, please, contribute to OpEdNews today.
We need an average of 100 contributions a month, averaging $30-40 each. We've had a small batch of $5-$20 contributions, but not even the 20 contributions we should have seen by now to keep on track.
And we haven't seen a $500 contribution in months. Please contribute what you can, today.
I know that with the economy we have, it can be scary to throw money toward something that doesn't fill a gas tank or put food on the table. But OpEdNews is an investment in your future that YOU KNOW pays returns. Make sure you keep us in your calculations and your priorities of what's important. If you don't, democracy will lose one of the few supports still holding it up. And you don't have to be in the US to support OpEdNews. The USA's actions and policies affect people in the furthest corners of the world. By supporting OpEdNews, you have a direct way to influence what happens in the US. You may not be able to directly contribute to candidates, but you can help support the media that keeps them honest and casts light on the truth.
Are you in Canada, UK, Australia, Holland, China, South Africa, France, Italy, Mexico... then use the weak dollar and make a generous donation already!
thanks,
rob kall
