The Decision to Use the Atomic Bomb (1995), by Gar Alperovitz and Amazon.Com

Alperovitz is an academic and his "big book" - in two sub-books - was published in 1995: Book 1, which I finished a decade ago, is titled simply "The Decision"; and Book 2, which I began reading this morning, is titled simply "The Myth."
