"There's no greater threat to Israel or to the peace and stability of the region than Iran," Obama tells the American Israel Public Affairs Council (AIPAC).
He goes on to say, "The Iranian regime supports violent extremes. And challenges across the region. It pursues a nuclear capability that could spark a dangerous arms race." He refused to take any military option 'off the table.'
"As president of the United States, I would be willing to lead tough and principled diplomacy with the appropriate Iranian leader at a time and place of my choosing -- if, and only if -- it can advance the interests of the United States."

Obama seems to forget the many nuclear weapons in Israel. He does not understand that we send a mixed message when we tell countries we will bomb them if they try to produce nuclear weapons, but then go and subsidize their tyranny when they do achieve nuclear capability (see North Korea and Pakistan).
Iran is not a threat to the United States. They have a weak military, a legitimate interest in the region, and no recent history of foreign invasion and occupation. The United States has the strongest military in the world (thanks hard-working taxpayers!), no reason to be anywhere near the Arabian peninsula, and a bad track record of launching illegal wars against Muslims.
This is the same saber-rattling that got us into the dreadful wars that have destroyed the lives of millions of people. We need to demand more of our politicians than this kind of demagoguery. And he is supposed to be our peace candidate? Good luck with all that!
