Create jobs, improve our decaying infrastructure vs. more tax cuts to corporations who once they received them sent our workers on the streets and their job to foreign lands. Is Boehner nuts? Or hung-over?

::::::::

Representative Boehner is rejecting the economic stimulus plan as set forth by President Obama simply by saying “It won't work”. Why, he doesn't offer any reasons why he feels the plan is flawed. All he has to offer is that tax cuts need to be made permanent and that will straighten out the economic mess the unfettered plans of the Bush/Cheney cabal.

His pleas are beckoning on the fact our people have remained either deaf or plain stupid. We have cut taxes for corporations as we were told by so doing we will create jobs. The end result has been a drastic loss of jobs. Many of those lost jobs were not due to a turn down in business, but rather have played a major part in turning down business because those jobs that were lost initially were to foreign lands and our consumer lost wages (to say nothing of our treasury that lost tax dollars due to the loss in wages). The bottom line was corporations had their taxes cut, they stripped their payrolls sending jobs to foreign lands, and now the American consumer cannot purchase what those corporations are having produced in foreign lands. Further, these corporations have cut their taxes even deeper by creating off-shore tax havens. Some of those corporations are paying a whopping 1% on their taxable income!

So, Boehner is proposing more of the same plan that has proved not to work. His plan has cut taxes for corporations, cut jobs for American workers, reduced income through taxes to our treasury, and emptied the available funds from consumers so they are unable to purchase what corporations have purchased by foreign workers.

Under the Obama proposed plan jobs will be created, jobs that have proved to be lost under Boehner's proposal of more of the same. Under Obama's plan our infrastructure that has been dreadfully been ignored the past decade will be restored. Our highways, rather than selling them to foreign corporations, will be refurbished and remain owned by Americans. Our bridges which have been collapsing as a result of being ignored the past decade will be restored. Schools which have been falling apart due to insufficient funds to keep up with repairs will be fixed up and cleaned up and made fit for our children to have a place they can learn.

Under Boehner's proposal we will continue to see jobs lost (a mere 54,000 just today!), our infrastructure fall into further decay, and top executive pay/bonuses continue to rise. But he, supposing we the people ar morons, continues with under cutting Obama's plan while adhering to the one that just failed miserably.

I'm in fear for our country's recovery as long as we have representatives as blatantly ignorant as Boehner who continue to push for programs that have proved to fail. What is even more disheartening is there are still media gerbils who continue to give people like him air time. Of course these media propagandists work for those corporations who have gained by tax cuts, yet what have they really given back to American people other than propaganda?
