I have had the pleasure of listening to a presidential speech today that was so inspiring that it's still ringing in my ears.
If you heard this speech and did not come away with renewed hope for our future, then I honestly feel for you. I say that because something must be holding you back that is within your pysche and you might need to work on getting rid of it so you can join the rest of us who wish to have a united country that will work together for the best of ALL it's people.
From some of the blogs I have been reading, I know there are people who still hold Obama's preacher against him because he did not "throw the preacher under the bus" as they felt he should have.
So, I would like to ask you to go to the link below and hear one of Reverend Wright's full sermons that was snipped into other sermons to make you believe they were one gigantic sermon of HATE.

Finally, if the owners of the church are not complaining and their White parishioners who attend the church are not complaining either, why is FOX?

I must say we have all known someone in our lifetime we have disagreed wholeheartedly with at some point, but have continued a personal relationship with because they were either family, friends, associates, or coworkers whom we have to deal with on a continual basis. Which means, it is NOT NECESSARY to have to throw a cohort under the bus to get satisfaction.
There are always ways to deal with a situation of disagreement that is appropriate when dealing with friends. It would not be to Obama's favor to throw the preacher away that he has known for over 20 years and respect as a friend, no matter what the preacher's feelings are in certain areas of his life.
And I'm sure if he had discontinued his relationship with the preacher, many would have called him a traitor, not a very good friend, one who does not stand by his friends, or other conjectures belittling Obama. Either way, he would have been dogged if he did and will probably be dogged because he didn't. "You can't please everybody" no matter how hard you try!
So when I hear people like Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity or Bill O'Reilly, two from the FOX network of hateful commentators, I don't pay these imbeciles any attention, which is what all of us need to consider. They spew hatred every chance they get and their commentaries aren't worth a plugged nickel when it comes to the truth.
Nobody wants to always hear negative diatribes and commentaries that always keeps you on the offensive. Everyone can appreciate calm and quiet every now and then but you just don't get such a thing with the two FOX degenerates and the lone ranger RL, unfortunately. But you can TURN THEM OFF or if you like Jekyls and Hydes for viewing pleasure, just don't take anything they say to be the truth! Always keep them at arm's length where it's safe!
What I would like to address as concerns the preacher is Jeremiah Wright is a learned individual who has served his country well in the Marines and who lived through the trying times of the 60s during the "free expression" period of our lives.
He feels he has the right to speak his mind and he does, according to the Constitution. And what he is saying is correct insofar as the Black struggle is concerned. Also, what he says about the war, how we got into the war, who benefits from the war, and how Blacks have been held back for so many years is also correct. How he says what he says is the controversy, I believe. Since he is speaking to Blacks about a Black issue, he speaks the way Blacks can understand and appreciate what he is saying.
The point is if you're not Black, you might feel this type of speech is a threat to Whites. But let me assure you that IT IS NOT.
Rev. Wright does not preach violence, violent behavior of any kind, violence directed to any people, or any other violent means of retribution. Rev. Wright speaks to Blacks to uplift them from their depressive background of being treated unequally, unjustifably, and he tries to help Blacks to move beyond their feelings of lost and mistreatment.
And until you can hear his ENTIRE SPEECH instead of the snippets that FOX and likeminded media presents to you, you will never truly understand the nature of his sermons. So, that's why I am asking you to hold your judgment until you can hear an entire sermon to get the honest and true feeling of why the Reverend preaches what he does.
Also, there are Whites at his service on many occasions and you have never ONCE heard any of them complain about prejudice, fear, or violence of any kind.
STOP listening to the "scripted" MEDIA. Remember, they are being told what to say and how to act. THEY ARE PUPPETS of the government in charge right now. THEY SAY AND DO what they do because they are PUNKS who are afraid of losing their jobs and the big money they make that keeps them living fabulously while we suffer with the pennies we make that can't pay all our bills.
And you make them RICHER by looking at them and doing what they tell you to do. The only way to stop them is to stop looking. Make them work the RIGHT way to get your viewership. Make them earn an HONEST living for a change by forcing them to tell you the TRUTH. Only YOU can do it.
If you don't know by now how much they lie, you are living in a world of your own. READ SOME BOOKS, go online and read news other than the top newscasters. Everything you haven't learned from your local news media is online. Everything that has been held back from you is in a book.
Remember how we used to read before the BOOB TUBE? Reading is an element we need to adopt once again. It's not only fun, it is very enlightening and rewarding as well.
