Obama has repeatedly said he doesn't take money from Fed lobbyists or PACs, but this distinction is essentially meaningless, if true.
According to WhiteHouseForSale.org , a project of PublicCitizen, 10 of his "bundlers" (people who collected $50,000 or more from different people) are registered Federal lobbyists:

More info on these people and other aspects of his finanacing can be found at SourceWatch.org 's Congresspedia:

He accepts money from lobbyist employees and others with close lobbyist ties:

He supports lobbyist interests:
In Illinois, Obama dealt with lobbyists
Feb 11, I called Obama's press office requesting clarification or a statement- I have not received a call back, as of this posting.
Polls consistently show majorities of Americans believe Democrats and Republicans are corrupted by special interest money and want restrictions on this influence. Obama's pledge has resonated with his supporters, but it's not backed up by his actions, which reveal him to be as much the "Republocrat" as any of the other "top tier", corporate-media approved candidates.
I will probably be writing in Kucinich or Paul for the general election, or voting independent or 3rd party candidate; the distinction of "lesser evil" cannot be justifiably applied to Obama, Clinton or McCain.
