I supported Barack Obama with both, money and working on the ground but I have to tell you that I have not seen that much happen. Oh, I know he has been to Europe, the Middle East, and just in Russia but what good has that done for me? Lets face it, I voted for him because I wanted something in return. Here it is 6 months and un-employment is still terrible, the economy is in the tank, and no health insurance. I did not expect miracles but if God built the world in 6 days, it would seem in 180 Obama could have accomplished more. I know that under Bush the oil business was good, my Halliburton stock did great, the world really respected us because if they did not they knew we would "kick ass" and take names. So what if we tortured a few people, we got the info that has kept the country safe and who cares what the world thinks of us. I say "carry the big stick and if they don't like us----so what". We got bombs up the kazoo and we can blast em to kingdom come.

Everyone agrees that Obama is smart but we did ok with Bush and we know he was not smart. Smart is ok but it is the ability to manipulate the system that makes us who we are, after all look at all the good jobs in Washington with people selling influence. Now I realize some people don't like lobbyists but that is how my Halliburton stock did so well, Cheney worked for Halliburton, then when he became Vice-President, Halliburton got all that work that made some of us all the money. Lets get this straight-------it's the American way. And when it comes to health care, why do we need any change. After all, most of us have health care and it is just those "others" that don't have it and that is just because they are lazy and don't want to work. One of the things in my portfolio that is doing well is my drug and health care investment so why would I want to do anything that would change that? What we need is another George Bush, a simple guy who knows that making money is the most important thing and how it is made is with the military industrial complex, taking care of your friends and keeping "do gooders" like Obama out of the loop. Even the Bible says the poor will always be with us and we need some poor people to do the work that the rest of us don't want to do. I have a friend that is a doctor and he is very smart and also very rich and I can promise you he would not be in the business if not for the money. It is the American way, so lets get a new president that "gets it" and get back to the good old days.
