To accept Obama's contention that he has just become aware of the many ludicrous, unpatriotic and insulting comments by his close friend and religious guide, the Reverent Wright, is to believe utter nonsense.
For this suspension of disbelief one must:
Assume that over many, many years Obama never actually heard any of the many sermons that included obscene comments.
Assume that in private conversations with Wright that Obama never heard any of these sentiments.
Assume that Obama never had any conversations with friends that also attended the same church, heard Wright's views and found the provocative beliefs worthy of conversations with Obama and his wife.
Assume that Obama's wife never independently heard about Wright's views and thought them important enough to talk about with Obama.
Assume that early in his current campaign no staffers, advisors or friends thought it important to bring up the nutty views of Wright to protect Obama from eventually facing media attention.
The only logical conclusion is that Obama is a big liar. Just another typical lying politician.
