Blunt comments regarding Obama's experience.

::::::::

I mean no disrespect, but I must take issue with people calling Obama an "empty suit." I find that people fail to do basic research on his record. I'll help. I know you've heard him:

1. Propose ending a war that he never supported, and should not have been waged, and
2. Propose instituting a national healthcare plan w/out Clinton-style mandates, along with increasing affordability with subsidies to those who can't afford coverage, and
3. Propose reducing college costs by increasing pell grants, in exchange for a year of national service, and
4. Propose recuding greenhouse gas pollution with a "cap" and "trade" system.

Experience? He's served in the State Legislature during Bill's time in the White House, and has served another 3 years in the United States Senate.

At the state level, he's PASSED: healthcare reform, death penalty reform, environmental regulation bills, a bill to track welfare success rates (i.e. YOUR tax dollars), a lobbying reform bill, and others. Source: NY TIMES - http://www.nytimes.com/imagepages/2007/07/29/us/politics/20070730_OBAMA_GRAPHIC.html

In the U.S. Senate, he's PASSED bills tracking where YOUR tax dollars go (i.e. Iraq) at usaspending.gov ,  worked on arms/weapons reduction with foreign countries, a bill banning lobbyists from giving extensive gifts (bribes) to Congressmen, among others. Again, these are OBAMA bills.

What's more important, he was able to get REPUBLICAN co-sponsors for these initiatives. Clear proof of Obama working for more consensus.

QUITE a record.

Senator Clinton has no landmark legislation. In addition, she's voted the wrong way on Iraq, Iran, a Bankruptcy Bill, and supported NAFTA- which has cost America hundreds of thousands of jobs, according to the Economic Policy Institute.
