Many suspected that the Obama Peace Candidate was a lie. Our deepest fear and suspicion may have just been confirmed.
There have just been missiles launched into Pakistan, authorized, not by George Bush or the evil Republican Congress but by a Democratic president and supported by the Democratic majority in the House and Senate.
Of course, this possibility was pointed out by small groups of peace and justice activists all over. Progressives who have been smeared, silenced and attacked all over America. In so many "progressive media outlets, from the Nation to Air America these truth tellers had been denied the progressive "golden microphone."
Now that this Darkness Gallery or COTO (Coalition Of The Obvious) as we prefer to call ourselves have been proven right, the only real question is, will be now be listened to, free of smears and attacks? Will we now be given access to the left wing golden microphone?
The moral and political integrity of progressive media itself is now at stake. Not to mention the broader progressive movement itself.
