My parents were Socialist Worker Party. They read the Old Mole and lionized Eugene V. Debs. In my neighborhood everybody was AFL/CIO. It was a way of life guns everywhere, hunting lodges and motorized fishing boats stored on trailers on the front lawn.
The boys donned their fathers' uniforms to fight woodland World War Two battles with bb guns. We played hardball with a Steeler mentality: no blood no foul.
On the picket line we took no prisoners. Scabs were shot.
All that vanished with the Civil Rights Act. The factory owners cried, "Negro!" We deserted the unions rather than work beside a black man to watch his rise to the middle class. Our demise took several years factories moving to the non-union south and, finally, outsourcing.
We never caught to the old adage. The man who disparages the other man diminishes himself.
We lost our jobs to corporate slavery. Ford brutalized the hapless Amazon natives and the chemical companies poisoned the atmosphere in India.
When we ignored our violations of human rights the beast turned on us. Our chickens came home to roost.
Hillary "Annie Oakley" Clinton arrived amid the factory ruins to lecture the liberal establishment would raise us from the dead.
Americans ignore the nation is a dictatorship with an entrenched Politburo [Congress]. Wall Street soared when they learned that taxpayers will pay for [buy] the toxic debt.
As a US citizen, I mourn the demise of the Republic replaced by a second-hand New World Order despotism.
Rather than tackle their real problems, some Americans dump on the Jews. This shopworn New World Order tactic still works well with the brain washed. I would pity them if they weren't so vicious with their bigotry.
Witness the canard that Israelis are non-believers. To us, Judaism is a way of life. Israel closes down for the Sabbath. All religious holidays are observed the ancient traditions respected.
Bigotry means Wall Street control. Liberty has taken a walk.
The Employee Free Choice Act
When this becomes law, as many as sixty millions Americans may join the unions. The corporations have mounted a massive campaign to defeat this Act.
Obama could easily pass the Act under reconciliation. He is lying when he claims the Congress will defeat it.
