Here is a letter I sent to Matt Lauer at the Today Show regarding his program using Glenn Beck and Michelle Malkin as 'experts' on the Louis Gates/Officer Crowley 'controversy'.

Dear Today Show:
Why did you quote and/or interview Glenn Beck and Michelle Malkin with respect to the Louis Gates/Officer Crowley incident? Why would you put such hateful, extreme right wing slander-mongers on your show as if they were some kind of neutral, unbiased experts?
Even Fox News disavows the more extremist statements of people like this, but you went ahead and let these rabid right wing slanderers go ahead on your show andcall Obama a racist.
You are a good example of why we need to re-constitute the old Fairness Doctrine. You need to be FORCED to do your job and tell both sides of the story, and not just act as agents of the GOP.
I am really saddened by the corrupt and ingrown and irrelevant "reporting" you do. We really need an anti-trust action against major networks who seem to act in collusion and all put out the same stories at the same time. This is not a free press. It is propaganda.
Weneed to bust up your monopoly and force the Fairness Doctrine on you to make you be even handed and balanced, which you refuse to do on your own.
I am going to publishthis letter on a major website I frequent: "Op-Ed News".
If I knew how, I would try to organize a boycott of your program and your network owners I would do so.
You are a bad example of how rotten, corrupt and disingenuous U.S. 'journalism' has become.
