Terrorists struck again in Bajaur Agency, tribal areas and further deepened the agony of my family. A prominent journalist of tribal areas Dr. Noor Hakim Khan, who is the elder brother of my sister-in-law and son-in-law of my aunt, sister of my mother was among the five victims killed by terrorists through a remote-controlled bomb.I did not attend the funeral of Noor Hakim Khan as I have no courage to see the faces of my wailing aunt and sister-in-law. My aunt has lost her husband some 35 years ago, but she refused to remarry. She spent her whole life in the broughtup of her daughters. It was really a difficult task for her, but she did that. She succeeded in marrying her two daughters. Now again she has to care for her daughter with four children. It will be very difficult for the widow of Dr. Noor Hakim Khan, who is also vice president of Tribal Union of Journalists, to lead the life.
My wife has also spent the whole day in weeping. Hundreds of women including mothers, sisters, daughters and wives joined the mother, sisters, daughters and wife of Dr. Noor Hakim in weeping. They cursing the rulers. My elder brother Dr Pervez Khan, who was gunned down in a Pakistan's city was also remembered by the women during the weeping.
Why we are being killed? This is the question being asked by the tribesmen. If the terrorists want to grab our land we shall give them without any resistence. We shall migrate to another place where at least we can live with peace.
This is my firm belief that there are some many in the world, who have gone mad. They just want to destory this world. They just want to see destruction and killing. This is the time that these people must be stopped otherwise the pain and agony of the human beings will further increase.
Small children of Dr. Noor Hakim, who is also my cousin three daughters and one son all below 10 years were besides the coffin of their father. I think they are not aware about the hardship in the life to come. Here the state is not responsible for caring about the orphans so there are possibiity they will be sent to Madrassahs being run by the terrorists for creating Taliban. All the Taliban in Pakistan are orphans and poor. Those who cannot afford to feed and educate their children hand over their children to Mullahs, who are the real terrorists.
Great peace activits Cindy has indicated that she wants to give up movement for peace. Mothers of Bajaur Agency during the weeping have pledged all-out support to her asking her to do something for saving the world. Your son sacrifice is for the whole humanity. The sacrifice of your son will bear fruits in the days to come.
I appeal to all the saner elements to console my family in this hour of trial. This is my firm belief that together we can defeat terrorism, the only justification for use of army by the rulers. Elimination of terrorism in Paksitan will be a defeat to terrorism in the whole world. Rulers should be pressurised to do more for elimination of terrorism.
I have spent some five years in the tribal areas working against terrorism. I have spent countless sleepless nights thinking to know what the terrorists want to achieve. I failed to understand the mind of the terrorists. There are a lot terrorists around me. They want nothing they just want killing and destruction to continue. They feel happiness when they see the mothers and sisters wailing. They are not human beings. They are below the standard of animals. Their elimination is a must. According to my observations, the rulers here have been fully supporting terrorists. They have made the criminals as heroes. The media is also playing negative role. They are just selling wrong news to the US newspapers. The media has been presenting terrorists as the representatives of the people, which totally wrong.
Earing money is not bad, but killing the people for money is a crime which cannot be pordoned. Some of the people, they may be rulers or newsmen, have been killing the people just for money. If the big newspapers and TVs start the blackout of the terrorists then they can very easily be defeated.
This is my firm belief if the political agent, the administrative officer of Bajaur Agency desires to eliminate terrorism then there will be no terrorism. Presently, I have the proofs that some these officers have been supporting terrorism. The United States has also been giving funds and recognination to these people, who have been supporting terrorism.
Please console my family and pressure the rulers to change direction of war on terrorism.
