Evil joy degrades us all.

::::::::

Had anyone noticed that OEN has warnings about using certain words like Nazism, Zionism, Whore, but Death is not  restricted? Death  can be used in abundance.  Anytime, anywhere, whenever.   Some of us can howl together with our hysterical MSM, 'Gaddafi is dead! Bye- Bye!'- and there will be no warning for lack of compassion of just blunt stupidity.  BTW, if someone  on the other side, say in Europe or Asia writes something like,  'American  Navy Seals are dead! Bye- Bye'- I guess we here will all be up in arms. Oh yes, we are so patriotic.

In my former life in the late USSR  period ( not Stalin's) I remember many  cases when  Russian propaganda newspapers would announce about the death ( sometimes violent one) of the prominent Western or Eastern politician who was a vehement enemy of theirs. I don't remember even once  any evil joy exercised.  Those messages were solemn, sometimes analytical, very restrained. Never Good Riddance. Never Bye- bye!   The Orthodox Christian morality which  was in the soil of Russia no matter what regime forbade to celebrate death. It was a sin   to be happy with someone else's misery even if that someone  was a bitter enemy. I once wrote already that in 1945 Soviet People did not rejoice or react in any way to the news about Hitler's suicide. There was nothing to say- it was over.

But here we seem to celebrate misery and death with evil joy.  Smirks  are on all the pages as if paper and pixels can endure anything. Gaddafi was killed by a Yankee fan! Go, give that fan a medal of honor, quick! Comedians joke about death and pundits laugh about death and  government  offficials love death and  werevolves howl and liberals squeak and breasty babes  analyse politics, discussing what else our primary harpies will do to Libya or to anyone else.

Death becomes us.  Our debates smell of rotten flesh and walking dead roam around on the streets.  We killed so many people  already in the 21st Century that  we don't feel anything anymore.   We talk about OUR jobs and OUR money and how great it was that it was a drone which shot at the convoy and French missile which was fired and Libyan rebels which found Gaddafi and how we murdered by proxy and only spent 1.2 billion dollars. Now we know: if Bush had not spend so much money but instead just nuked Iraq in a day we here would have rejoiced; our liberals would have totally approved and  GW would be hailed as a great decider by all sides.  Now we see the light - murder by proxy is the way to go. It  is acceptable for all. Patriots of this country- unite under the murder for proxy banner and our  illustrious Commander- In- Chief should continue sending drones. They are so cute.  Death had become cute.

I guess  it is useless to remind  people that the bell tolls for thee, that what goes around- comes around, that murder by proxy means  that they all had become defenseless, that they better weap. Evil joy  fills the air.

There had been a lot of debates recently on OEN  about OWS and revolution and hope and change.  Here is wisdom: evil joy  we here exercise when we hear about death is  the PRIMARY OBSTACLE on any path to goodness here if we still have any. It  is worse than GOP, worse than Koch  brothers, worse than even  religious right. Evil joy is a true Satanic invention and it shows ( paraphrasing HB Stowe) what that gentleman is capable of doing.   The bell tolls for thee, people. We had murdered by proxy.  We did it. That's the only thing that happened. Live with it if you can.
