More of the Same

One of the first speeches on the Senate floor was to further promote the falsehood that Israel is retaliating against the thousands of rocket attacks from Hamas. There actually have been thousands over the course of the last seven years, but the retaliation has been toward Israel unless it is within bounds for Israeli soldiers to kill innocents within Gaza.

What I find disdainful yet somewhat amusing is how our own Senators continue the propaganda of the corporate media machine. Maybe they are both getting their talking points from the same source.

That brings me to the amusing part. Could it be the Senate want to end this conflict in the near term so their posh party to Israel sponsored by AIPAC has no hitches?

Frightfully, it appears there will be few major changes contrary to what promises Obama made to make to the White House.
