There's a new book out about some brains here in Texas -- brains in jars.
Apparently a bunch of brains collected from the Austin State Hospital, a mental institution, have just been hanging around in a closet at the University of Texas. A writer discovered this and has written a book about it.
When news of the book got out, after much searching, it was discovered that possibly as many as a hundred were missing. Upon further investigation it has been posited that they probably were destroyed. However, Lincoln Heinke, an Austin neurosurgeon, told the Austin American Statesman yesterday that, "Governor Perry stole them because he doesn't have one."
