Too much about Iran. What do Americans care about Iran anyway?

::::::::

Five headlines about Iran. I would like to ask why. Why is Iran's election so important? Half of Americans can't even find Iran on the map, and the other half have no clue about Iranian culture or government.  So why do we care so much about Iran. We don't care about other countries when they have elections unless they elect Hamas. We didn't care about the fraud down South in Mexico when they had an election. Oh wait. They "elected" a US puppet, so we wouldn't care about that. We don't want any president to threaten our corporations' unleashed rape of other countries. If they decided they don't like being raped then we have to step in and install a puppet who will let our corporations mow down their landscape, enslave their people, and rob all their resources. Maybe Ajad doesn't like being mowed down or maybe he doesn't take lip from Israel. Who knows?

When the American media goes haywire over an election in a far off country that most people don't care about unless they decide to bomb it, I begin to wonder. Normally we don't care about dictators. We like them. Look at China. We love China. We don't even care much for Kim Il Jong. Oh there that crazy man goes waving his fist about nukes. Blah. But Iran!! They elected AJAD again!! How could they??

Look at how much news Burma gets these days. Zip. They have a nasty Junta doing all sorts of things. I guess our corporations have nothing to mine there or can't sell Coca-Cola, and it's easier to enslave Indonesians, Thais, or Vietnamese.

My take is they want to bomb Iran or take its oil or both. Or maybe our CIA idiots did try to rig the election and screwed up. Now our media has to go on like a bunch of crowing idiots about something that wasn't supposed to happen anyway.  Methinks the media doth protest too much.

I enjoy writing about political/ economic events, and I am especially concerned about the US as a warlike nation. I would like to see this nation turn itself around from a conquering nation in both commerce and war to a nation of peace. I hope that (more...)
