Bobby Jindal, Louisiana's Governor elect, is youngest person in US history to be elected Governor.
Son of Indian immigrants Amar and Raj Jindal was born on June 10th 1971. He is married to Supriya Jindal and they have three children.
A Rodhes Scholar, he has master’s degree in political science from Oxford.
Born a Hindu, Jindal converted to Christianity. He is a Roman Catholic and while at Oxford, he wrote an article for New Oxford Review, saying that he had witnessed a friend “being possessed by a demon”. (Source)
Bobby Jindal opposes abortion. According to Ontheissues.org, he has voted no on expanding research to more embryonic stem cell lines and yes on restricting interstate transport of minors to get abortions.
He is also an intelligent design supporter, suggests that it is appropriate to teach it in school science class. (Source)
