Yesterday the San Francisco Chronicle joined the "dump democracy first" crowd by issuing an oped entitled, "Liberals, the election is over, live with it", which can be found here:

First, the stupidity of the title seems to imply that anyone who simply wants the truth, must be liberal. NEWS FLASH - some of us are not necessarily liberal, yet still want to know if our electoral process was hijacked or not.
Using the same talking points that the NY Daily News used last week (see my archive for that article), the SFC makes broad assumptions, calls into question the sanity of anyone who doesn't just say yes..baaa, i'm moving on. Sorry to the shepards of the sheeple, but we are not going anywhere until the truth comes out this time.
The SFC piece makes many glaring errors, one of which is they refer to the media as must being "naive", for their non-coverage. Au contraire, we actually believe that most media are complicit, there is a stark difference.
The writer of the piece, Carol Pogash, would be far better serving this country if she would actually offer any semblance of proof, instead of dismissing out of hand the concerns of 57 million Americans. The problem of course, is that Ms. Pogash, is not concerned at all about the truth, just keeping the derailment of denocracy chugging along. She cannot explain the statistically impossible, so she mocks anyone who would disagree with her.
The people who are calling for a fair recount, only want the truth. People like Carol Pogash, only want people who want the truth to be ridiculed and to go away. Sorry Carol, not this time.
Basking in the sun, in between reading alternate news for hours on end... until next time
