As a newspaper reporter you wake up everyday and depending on your mood, you unroll the newspaper and you hope to see a headline like "Cure for Cancer is discovered, folks just wont die any longer" OR "chest of money found" , said to be 700 billion dollars in it, world money problems over." But NO, I have to open the paper (Online) and see: "McCain Opens Pandora's Box; opponent ready to chop us all up and eat us for dinner!" I just don't get it. Here we are in a time where our country could possibly be dressing up for Halloween in their dull black and white suits with their 30's Fedora hats and sporting their best depression smiles and we have this type of political poppycock happening.Now I know that it is just politics, but please tell me that you politicians have just a little more common sense, or is that out of your political campaign budget? We see both sides of the isle two steppin and song a dancing folks with all this "he said she said" stuff.
I struggle everyday and work real hard to gain more viewers to my comments and I try to write with both sides of the issue in mind, and my message is not as important as both of yours. But you two have the world at your hands, eating out of your hands. Can you feed us something more than just the byproduct of a failing campaign?
We know what is going on, we really aren't that dumb, just trusting. So if you two give us bull we will make bull-ogna if you give us lemons we will give you the sour face. Do we really have to spend the next few weeks wondering if our next president is a raving lunatic or a terrorist? Or do you think we could focus on whether or not we will have a job or a home or security for that matter after November 4th.. All this money spent on a war to secure our country and now we have lost our financial security.
Mr. McCain I respect you but you are making me believe that you would feed your mother to the wolves for dinner if you thought it would allow you to live one more day as a candidate. Remember leaders don't go down this way. The captain goes DOWN with the ship, not kill all the passengers and float on their bodies to safety.
Please stop acting like the Hatfield's and the Mc Coy's --both of you. We really only want a leader from one of you. If you tell us to jump we will say how high, if you say yell we will say Yeeehawww! If you say HATE we will HATE.
