Once again, McCain is distorting Obama's words. Obama said his faith in this country was "vindicated." McCain seized on this, saying that his country has never had to "prove" anything to him. But Obama didn't say his country needed to prove anything. The term "vindicated" expresses the fact that Obama has always had faith in his country, and that it was merely reaffirmed. Once again, McCain plays a cynical manipulative trick, that assumes the American people are stupid. How's that for faith in country?
