I have been thinking a lot, as well as reading about the pros and cons of the bailout and I am still too confused and uncertain to definitely say it is a bad idea or simply necessary. I also wonder, how it is, that so many people on the side line (my definition is you are in no position of decision) seem to have so many EXACT opinions. This is where I am coming from. I have over 40 years of business experience. I have started 8 different business’s, 3 of which were total failures, one that “fed me” for 16 years and then failed, one of which I sold, one which still is feeding me, and one I let go to do other things. I have a university degree, have been in over 30 countries, and have also worked as a boat Capt., bartender, and short order cook. My point? After listening to people like Greenspan, Buffet, and others of that ilk, as well as the other side of the argument, I am still not certain. I also do not believe there is as much conspiracy as some would believe, and there are more people of “good intent” than some would have us think. I therefore think, that I must disqualify myself and leave the decisions to those better qualified.
