Fight the big banks by moving your money to smaller, safer local banks in your own community. Join the movement to curtail the power of the big banks.

MOVE YOUR MONEY
Are you angry about Wall Street's reckless excesses? Are you mad about the huge bonuses
that are being paid to the executives of the big banks? You can act to change this. Withdraw your
deposits from the large banks that brought the system to ruin and had to be rescued with billions of taxpayer dollars. Put your money instead in smaller, safer banks or credit unions in your own community that do not profit from greed and recklessness.
"Move Your Money" is a volunteer campaign that is lighting up the Internet because it shows people how they can push back against the big dogs of banking.
The concept is simple, but this is a big idea that could change the direction of financial reform. If coordinated with legislative reform efforts, it could lead to a broad rebellion against the banking robber barons, with citizens reclaiming the power to act directly when politicians are too intimidated by moneyed interests to act in the public interest.
The way to start is to go to www.moveyourmoney.info/where you can find community banks in your ZIP code that are certified as safe and sound. So far, hundreds of thousands of people have searched for good local banks in ZIP codes that cover 40% of the nation.
This campaign can help to break up the concentrated power held by the mega-banks by creating a balanced system of smaller, more diverse lending institutions that thrive by serving local credit needs.
"Move Your Money" is an example of people power in action and serves as a direct way for people to work together tochange a dysfunctional system.
