As a tribute to the Inaugural Coronation, I have instituted a comprehensive media black-out which means that for the next four years (or eight, whichever the case may be), I will not buy a newspaper, look at the news either on the Internet or on television, or in any other way allow the media in any form to enter my brain and taint whatever good sense lurks there.
As far as I am concerned, the only hope left in the world for America to be salvaged from the ravening mad dogs of the nation’s leftist media, was the election of John McCain.
Now, that all hope is lost, and America looms into a black hole of Democratic madness led by that screeching queen of fright, Nancy Pelosi (who I secretly admire for her wonderful verve and style and like me she is of Italian extraction),
I am content to descend into my own self-made world of ignorant bliss, confident that America as we know it is as much history as the Civil War.
Alas, America, wherefore art thou? Is she a beacon shining in the night, the long-lost hope of the world, that safe harbor of opportunity where even the least of us may succeed?
Forsaken as she is, the mad rat pack having devoured the king, the throng of thugs converges on the palace rendering its petite and gentle amenities into shreds, a mockery of what was.
So long, America, thou hast seen the best and now must confront the rest.
