The title to this article is a quote from Matthew 24:22. Religionists liken it to the parable of the net cast into the sea and when pulled ashore the good are put into vessels and the rest thrown away i.e. choosing heaven or hell.
Oddly, the definition that rings true but a revision of the religionists view was created by the fraud of Joseph Smith, Jr. It goes something like this:
“ Many are called but few are chosen. And why are they not chosen? Because their hearts are set so much upon the things of this world and they aspire to the honors of men….
Sadly, from our experience we have learned that no sooner have men gained a little authority as they suppose, than they immediately begin to exercise unrighteous dominion over the lives of others....
If there ever was a self-delivered caution given as a pre-curser to tyranny, that definition is it! Following the history of the tyranny of Mormonism, that quote was a flashing red light to all who may become caught up in the vastly sweeping net of fraud and drawn into the church by deception. The authority of the mis-named Melchizedek priesthood has haunted it’s holders into the depths of unrighteous dominion over the lives of others. There are fifteen men at the helm of the Mormon Church. Oh yes, many are called but few are chosen [and not even these fifteen]!
From a leverage point of 15/3,000,000ths, that is fifteen three millionths as to stateside MormonMembership and fifteen three hundred + millionths of Americans, these Mormon leaders by subterfuge and deception are spending millions of dollars of other peoples money in suppressing the civil rights of five million homosexuals within the borders of the United States! They would also extend that deluded right to dominion over fifteen six billionths of earths inhabitants to control and deny human/civil rights to three hundred sixty million of earth’s homosexuals!
Talk about the exercise of unrighteous dominion from a pulpit of fiction, this has to be among the worst case scenarios of self delusion from a sense of supposed authority in the cosmos! Of course when that happens it is amen to the “priesthood” of those men [D&C 121]! Instead of puffing from supposed authority these fifteen men need to hearken to one of their own hymns!
WAKE UP AND DO SOMETHING RIGHT!
Have I done any good in the world today?
Have I helped any one in need?
Have I cheered up the sad, and made
someone feel glad?
If not, I have failed indeed.
Has any one's burden been lighter today,
Because I was willing to share?
Have the sick and the weary been helped on their way?
When they needed my help was I there? . .
There are chances for work all around just now,
Opportunities right in our way;
Do not let them pass by, saying, "Sometime I'll try,"
But go and do something today.
'Tis noble of man to work and to give
Love's labor has merit alone;
Only he who does something is worthy to live,
The world has no use for the drone.
And they should start with a lesson in genetic science!
