If you read this diary earlier, you know I did not really understand this song. Maybe because I was a horny 16 year old when I developed a ridiculous crush on Ann and Nancy Wilson, I thought the "barracuda" was a sexually prowling guy. Now, I learn it is the predatory music business. Even more appropriate that the Republicans would use a song criticizing exploitive corporate power over women to intro the women they are exploiting at the moment. My apologies to two of my favorite rockers for assuming it was all about sex.
