For all the talk about what to do in Iraq, what has truly been missing from this debate are unbiased opinions from the fighting men and women that are in Iraq.

::::::::

Are you tired of turning on the tv and carousing the news channels? CNN, Fox, MSNBC, etc. Each of these news organizations has an agenda about Iraq. Fox with it's obvious mis-direction and right wing agenda. CNN trying to straddle the fence with a somewhat liberal bias. And MSNBC all over the map.

Over the course of the last year, the increased civilian deaths and rise in American troop murders and maiming has not gone unnoticed. Yet, for all the op ed pieces,news reports we've seen I'd like to challenge our news organizations to pull 20 soldiers from across Iraq. Hide their identities and let them tell us, the American people, how it really is going in Iraq.

I want to hear an unbias, unfettered opinion from soldiers whose identities are hidden to prevent backlash from senior military commanders. I want to hear the story from 20 or so active duty personnal and have them tell we the American people just what we are accomplishing in Iraq, where it is broken and how they think the situation can be salvaged or run better.

So this is what I want to see. I want to hear about this war from the warriors fighting the war. I want to feel their pain, anguish, fears, hopes, and dreams for Iraq and themselves. I also want them to know that we are listening to them, not talking at them across the great divide in American politics the war is creating every day.
