Lars Von Trier and 'Melancholia'

Message cumhur ozkaya

If someone would have demonstrated first acts to Trier and they assigned to Trier with shooting a film by annotating first acts and Trier could have done this, yes we could think he is a good writer and director.

Who interests with first strange acts? Some surrealistic designs, strange montage and classical music" So what?

Film begins with Justine's ( Kirsten Dunst-2011 Cannes winner) wedding. She is happy till she sees "Melancholia' at sky. She leaves ceremony, she goes to bath and she sleeps. Groom and visitors wait her at hall. Her older sister cares about Justine but wedding becomes cut up. A successful copy writer Justine is promoted by boss at wedding but she insults boss after saw "Melancholia', she leaves new husband and her father leaves her. Only one male is her older sister's (Claire) husband and her nephew boy.

She is soft until she sees "Melancholia', she loves groom, she loves boss, she loves horses at barn. But she beats horse after they came to older sister Claire's home. I think Trier remembered the Nietzsche and Justine beats the horse. Claire is more hopeful and lively she loves life she doesn't want to die, she doesn't want to Melancholia crashes to world. She is like Nietzsche. Justine is an insane, depressive and nervous, so she beats horse, she is like man who in Nietzsche's story.

Nephew calls Judie "break-steel'. Melancholia is a blue planet (Steel blue) and Justine promises to nephew for making a cave. Making a cave: This is I just liked. Making a cave! Good.

Claire says to Justine sometimes she hated her like sin. I think bride Justine is the symbol of sin. She goes to bath again and again. She has some strange abilities. John, Claire's husband, is least man who losing at film. He dies at barn and his wife Claire leaves free horse Abraham and they, Justine, Claire and nephew, wait the Melancholia crashes to world.

All symbols which at head of film (Surrealistic designs) are demonstrated in film. So what? I don't know why are Trier and his films discussed? This is an awful film.
