Now we all know that soldiers were guarding anything about oil with their lives, but such an order for the Museum was not given. We even saw the soldier and the pot that was looted a thousand times, over and over. First estimates from London Museum professionals that there could be as many as 100,000, to 170,000 items looted. I, personally, would err on the high side when cameras were rolling, through out the world. But you must understand, this is a serious matter for President Bush and his legacy. Would Bush and his cronies want anybody to think that he would not think about one of the most important museums in the world?"I can guarantee you that the Iraq was NOT looted!"
Surely you've seen that. It's Republican spam! Right now, The University of Chicago has identified 33 important items that have yet to surface. Yet they cannot say for sure what the high estimate on items still missing, from 1500 to 3000 or more.
You see, this is an important subject. If Bush and The Pentagon forgot to cover the museum, then that would prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that Bush is uncouth and has no respect for the history of the world. Like, ... ah, he is still stuck on the Dick And Jane, pre-primers.
"I know for sure that the Baghdad Museum was not looted, because I know it."
Give me a break. It is still nothing more to Bush than smutt trying to cover-up just how uneducated the NEOCONS were and are. "It's the oil, folks, ... the oil! Oh, we forget about the museum because, it was never looted."
How about the library? How many of us have looked into what documents were ruined by the flooding of the library's basement rooms wth water to keep looters from taking away anything down there? The very fact that those rooms were flooded, proves that the museum was significantly looted.
This is a very important matter to the learned ones in The White House. Don't dare let it be said, that Bush, Cheney, Rummy, Bremer, and gang "plum" forgot about the most important museum in the world. Heaven forbid!
