Just say NO.
The Bush Administration uses the word crisis to force feed Congress and the American people ill considered legislation. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS “CRISIS”.
The truth is that no one can tell you what will happen if we (meaning you) spend the time –months if necessary-- evaluating any “bail-out” legislation.
AND, no one can tell you what will happen if this **$700 Billion** is spent.
That is a bad deal—and leads to a single conclusion: This deal requires public discourse, hearings, expert testimony and time for consideration. It also means some basic tenets of any plan: SUSTAINABILITY. ACCOUNTABILITY. TRANSPARENCY.
JUST SAY NO to the pressure to pass a bill by the end of this week!
