Sunset on the Deleware River Nov. 26, 2006
::::::::
I took the picture with my cell phone camera, at the tip of Philadelphia, near where Philly and Bucks counties meet..There's not a lot of conversation when I go fishing. Cast, jig, set the hook, reel in the fish. Unhook the fish and throw it back in. Just we two fishermen, (my cousin) the boat (his) the river, the birds, the water, the sky, the trees and every now and then, the fish.
Wonder of wonders, hardly any political thoughts entered my head.
We caught largemouth bass, crappy and Perch-- mostly yellow perch. It was a beautiful day-- sixty degrees, in late November. When I got home, another buddy, Stu, called to tell me slopes are open at Hunter and Killington (ski mountains.)
Life is good.
