This article is not specifically about george bush. The title sounded good and oh so true. At this time of the year we are supposed to feel joy and goodwill towards all men. Ok we will do that on Dec. 25th. In the mean time there are many people throughout the world that are experiencing anguish instead of joy. I want to focus on the people that have lost their children. Whether if it was to disease, famine, murder, war, accidents etc., these children will never have the chance to grow up and experience life and love. They will never hold their wife or children, never experience sex or anything else that life has to offer.
Our dear son Jason died at the age of 27. He had contacted Chrohn's disease at the age of 16. He never married or had children, but was in a serious relationship for many years. He did experience many things that some younger children never will. The loss of a child is the most heart wrenching thing a person can endure. I had a dream last night. I only remember at the end of the dream a man that had lost his two young children began to sing a song of lament. I heard the first two verses and woke up. They went, "They never had a chance to love, you cannot hold the sky above. I woke up in tears, haunted by these verses and took it upon myself to try and finish the song.
I brought up george bush, because he is responsible for tens of thousands of children and young men and women dying, who will never experience life, and for what? A lie! When shoeless Joe threw his shoes at bush, it was very apt, because the heel has no sole (soul). The world will be a better place when bush is gone and I hope he someday gets a conscience and is haunted by these precious souls the rest of his life.
This song is in the memory of, those that never had a chance to love. You cannot hold the sky above. I hope their on the wings of doves.
The children that have passed away, their fate was not for them to say. They still should be around, but instead their heaven bound. They never had a chance to love.
We know it's not fair and our hearts are laid bare, memories and tears are all we can share. Their smiles and their faces are burned in our mind. They would want us to go on, and be happy and kind.
They never had a chance to love. You cannot hug the sky above. Let's hope their on the wings of doves. This song is in the memory of.
