To be a manicurist in Florida, you need a year of training, to pass a test and be licensed. Why do we expect less from politicians? The media and most voters assume that the ability to raise millions from special interest groups--or to spend $75 million of your own money to win--is enough to qualify you as governor of America's third largest state. In fact, it is pay-for-play politicians who got us into this mess, and they will never lead us out of it--because they don't know how.
