Sometimes I think there are just a few people paying attention to what this administration is getting away with. Where is Congress? Why aren’t there any news people outraged beside Keith Olberman??
Bush is now calling IRAQ a success!!! WTF!! I wonder what a failure would look like. A charred rock with no life at all revolving around the sun maybe that would be what Bush would call failure.
Bush actually said “It’s unconscionable to deny funds to our troops in harm’s way because some in Congress want to force a self-defeating policy, especially when we’re seeing the benefits of success.”
Let’s look at what a Bush Success looks like. Up to 1 million Iraqis killed or wounded and up to 4 million homeless or in desperate poverty some having to sell their daughters into prostitution to support the family. Nearly 4,000 Americans killed and tens of thousands scared mentally and physically and a military pushed to the brink.
Bush’s success has alienated us from potential allies, increased global terror and hatred of the United States and has embraced torture as official U.S. policy. Bush’s success has handed back half of Afghanistan to the Taliban.
Bush’s Success has taken our treasury from a record surplus to record deficits, with trillions more to come. The price of a gallon of gas has gone from $1.06 to $3.11. I ask congress how much more success can we afford?
Bush has signed an agreement with the Iraqi Prime Minister al Maliki to create a permanent alliance with that government which sounds a lot like a treaty to me which should have been ratified by congress. WTF where is the outrage in congress?
Bush has issued his first signing statement since the GOP lost control of congress in which he more or less says that he can spend the money congress gives him any way he sees fit up to and including using these funds to start a war with IRAN. WTF where is the outrage in congress?
It now comes out that Bush knew from the INE that Iran had abandoned its nuclear weapons program and is still threatening to start WWIII because IRAN might build a nuclear weapon someday. WTF where is the outrage in congress?
The Bushites advised a British Court that can kidnap anyone off the street anywhere for any reason at all and Wisk them away to secret prison to be tortured. WTF where is the outrage in congress?
Scott McClellan admitted that he lied about the role of Libby and Rove in the outing of covert CIA agent Valerie Plame. WTF where is the outrage in congress?
Bush has just reappointed Paul Wolfowitz yea the one who called General Sanchez’s estimation of a half million troops to pacify Iraq “ wildly of the mark” as the chairman of the International Security Advisory Board. WTF where is the outrage in congress?
Only one presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich is not silent and he continues to advocate impeachment every time he is asked. Why isn’t he leading the polls?
