Iran poses no threat to the United States. Time to stop using fear as an instrument of policy.

::::::::

Iran poses no threat - Nuclear weapons suspended in 2003 that's the conclusion of the NIE's recent report.

It's sad when you cannot trust your own President or the information parroted in the main stream media.

We have been told a stream of misinformation and yet we just continue to take it.  First about WMD's, a mushroom cloud and Iraq, now about Iran.  No one is checking this out of control armed lunatic we have as a President.  No wonder the country is lying dormant in it's civic responsibilities and confused.  We need to tell this President that he needs to stop using fear on his own people and to stop crying wolf.  If he is that paranoid and afraid, with the largest military in the world, more than the next 50 nations by some estimates, he should resign and we should replace this President with someone that is better balanced.

Even without the mainstream press more and more Americans are waking up the clever use of fear and manipulation that this administration uses against it's own people.

Two days after a new intelligence report said that Iran had halted its nuclear weapons program four years ago, Bush demanded that Tehran detail its previous program to develop nuclear weapons.  He now says we must keep them from getting "the knowledge" to continue the development of their nuclear weapons program.  Bait and switch on the American people and the World again?

Our government needs to be held accountable to a higher standard.

Iran is a nation that poses the United States very little threat.  The United States, with more might then the next 50 nations, has become the Bully of the World and on the way to becoming the tyrant.  This is not the future I want for this country.

President Bush is creating a crisis out of thin air (back to using the 1% doctrine).  That's a horrible way to run international policy.  Bullying those that pose no threat to the United States and sucking up our national resources.  Why are we bankrupting this country?

This administration used smoke and mirrors and slight of hand to get us into Iraq and he doing it again with Iran.  Enough with the drum beat of fear.

This President needs to be reigned in.  He needs to stop crying wolf.  He needs to stop using fear as a weapon against his own citizens and the world.

Let's get someone in the White House who is not afraid - we don't need to be the bully of the world - it's ruining this country.

It's time that our government come clean and we put an end to this madness.  Time we get the facts on this administration and pursue criminal charges.  I for one want our country back and I'm tired of the deceit from our government, especially this President.
