In BET REPORTS, Rob Kall quotes in the link to his article here of moments ago: "In retrospect, it was a mistake," Fulton County Judge Marvin Arrington told CNN. "Because my sheriff said to me, 'Judge, that message should be given to everybody' 'don't violate the law, make something out of yourself, go to school, find a role model, somebody that will help you advance your life.'" It is about a judge's response to a gathering of those in court on crimes, the vast majority of which defendants were black

Rob explores the scene.

Aside from the judges comments, unless I missed something, just what else did he do? I asked of those commenting. However, here I further elaborate. Were they a gang? Or were their crimes separate? Did he release them from trial? What was the outcome? I have written several times about the laws being made stricter by the lobbying of the Republicans who own prison management, construction, maintenance and service companies, for longer sentences so they could make more money and who offer no training programs or educational programs in order to ensure residual internment. As long as the War and Economic Criminals go unindicted, why should we keep anyone in prison?

Who, now in prison has murdered 1.5 million people? Who now in prison has stolen $8.9 trillion dollars? Who now in prison has sold gasoline that costs $00.02 cents a gallon for $3.75 cents a gallon.

People who have had the short end of the stick, whose jobs have been outsourced to China, who were victims of Corporate TREASON-of the outsourcers, who are hungry and angry, are bound to steal and worse. Can you blame them, entirely? They have lots of free time and little resources except the streets and crime, no wonder they end up in prison. Ramsey Clarke once told me on Extension 720, Milt Rosenberg's show on WGN, that 60% of those in prison were framed. He may have been conservative in his estimate. Republicans want them dead in hurricanes or in shoot-outs with police. Democrats want to help them but know not how. I have a few ideas, few of which are new, but here they are none-the-less. WHO? Who now in prison has lied to several billion inhabitants of planet earth to get a good many of them to become complicit into the oil stealing, fright and mass-murder business?

Were I judge, I would give regular criminals a choice, join the military or the Peace Corps or work for some charity. I would not send many other than those convicted of murder, rape or other violence to prison.

Further were I on congress, I would wipe off the books 90% of the silly laws like those that make prostitution and polygamy illegal-I would legalize them as a choice also-Freedom of choice. I would like to have for all the same choices Abraham, Moses, David, Solomon, and others have had.

I would eliminate 90% of the misdemeanors and 90% of the non-Violent felony charges, throw out the FBI, IRS, and I would confiscate all privately or corporately owned prisons and turn them into homes for the homeless. I would replace those prisoners now held to ridiculously long term sentences, with white Collar criminals who commit heinous, felonious, financial, crimes which are at worst, if ever litigated, are as "Civil" laws suites, rather than charged with crimes as they should be. I would invest half of the now indebted $8.9 trillion in USA Municipal Infrastructure and put these kids to work like in the CCC of FDR's day. I would make signing statements a felony, and the War Powers Act and Executive Orders would become, without 2/3rds agreement from congress, Kaput! I would tax the bejeepers out of outsourcing Corporations and use the money to fund a jobs program. Most people who are idle and have no money steal to eat-put them all to work. I would cap all corporate CEO compensation Packages at $2.5 Million per year, any more than that and they are stealing from investors. The taxpaying public are Cannon Fodder for the big money financial criminals at the FED and the Stock Markets. I would tax the Hell out of anyone who owns more than $10,000,000, and I would cap corporations at $500,000,000 revenue. The larger they become the more of a threat to freedom they are. They ARE the Military, Medical Industrial Complex, and it is they who jump-started this war. I would see to it that NO-ONE is unemployed, ever. If they are send them to the former prisons which would then be homes for the Homeless and unemployed. That's what I would do. What would you do?
