India has the age old problem of the caste system that struggles to keep the poor in their place, and with the emergence of the new billionaire class the gap between the rich and the poor widens. India while developing a space program with some of the finest technology in the world also has one of the highest rates of illiteracy in the world. The government of India has unleashed a firestorm of predatory corporations upon their own people. Between Monsanto peddling seeds that don't produce seeds, seeds that require pesticide, and more water and the money lenders who work with Monsanto to put poor farmers in debt, India's farmers feeling helpless to combat the onslaught of such roguery, committed suicides in mass to spare their children the accrued debt. With weather not cooperating and the seeds not producing, India also has lots of people near starvation.America is almost a repeat of this situation. The elite have placed themselves at the top permanently and slavery just went underground with outsourcing and low wage illegal immigrants. Our predator bankers are notoriously above the law waging war against the middle class. Agriculture has all but been completely taken over by BIG AG. Our people have lost homes, jobs, and the American dream.
In India the Maoists are on the move and getting quite a following from the masses of poor people. In America we remain dormant. What is it that poor, illiterate people get that we in America don't get? Or do we have to be starving to get it?
