Let's Think Big!

::::::::

I guess Americans haven't been fighting the right wars. Most now agree that Iraq wasn't the right war. Some now tell us that Afghanistan is the right war and Iran could be a just war.

But to me, this is thinking too small. The right war should be a really big war. This is the 21st century and we should be doing things bigger, and with all of our high tech., we could be killing millions and millions of people with a single hit. In the last century, close to 200 million people died in wars around the globe, and maybe a lot more. But we have to progress as a species and this century is starting out a bit slow as far as mass killings of humans go. We are doing pretty good as far as mass killings of other species though.

So let's forget about bombing countries that really can't do us any harm. Let's go right to one of the biggest and the baddest. Let's consider bombing China. Think about what our nukes could do to a billion and two hundred thousand people. Now you know the Chinese won't just take on the fight in their own country. They will be sending their nukes right at us. Last I checked, America has about three hundred million people. Talk about moving on to the 21st century with a bang. We could be utilizing all of our weapons and finally getting some really big bang for our bucks.

There are some big benefits to an American/Chinese war to go along with the big deaths. Right now we owe a lot of money to China. But if we let them have it with all that we have to offer then we won't have to pay them back. Also, we won't have to be buying up their cheap unsafe goods. Instead we might be able to rebuild our own economy here at home. Well that would be after the nuclear fall out and near mass extinction. But you have to take the good with the bad. Moreover, we wouldn't have to keep planning for our future war with China. All of this planning for a future war with China is going to cost trillions and it is just going to make everyone worry until it happens. One other thing, taking out that many people and creating a nuclear winter will put a lid on global warming.

So in this age of globlization we have to find the right global war that will make its mark on human history. Einstein once said, "I don't know what kind of weapons will be used in the third world war, assuming there will be a third world war. But I can tell you what the fourth world war will be fought with -- stone clubs." So stone clubs are a lot cheaper, environmentally friendlier, and less deadly than our present stock pile of nuclear weapons. But to get to the stone clubs we have to find the right war for the 21st century.

A lot of you may be thinking what's the point. It is likely that with all of these smaller global wars for empire and resources, we are going to get to the big one eventually. A war that is finally "right." But I am trying to think outside of the box here. The Military Industrial Complex is getting really fat and happy with all of these little endless wars. But, to me, these small wars for empire aren't fitting of a grand empire like our present "New World Order."

Let's let go with a NeoCon wet dream and blow the whole world to bits and pieces. That would really be fitting of a great empire intent on finding and fighting the right war. But when we finally find that right war it will likely be the last war for everyone.
